Welcome to Community Feed Our Children!

Across America, 13.4 million children are experiencing food insecurity—that’s 1 in 5 children who may not have consistent access to the food they need to grow, learn, and thrive.

Hunger affects far more than a child’s stomach. Poor nutrition can weaken the immune system, increase hospitalizations, lower IQ, shorten attention spans, and hinder academic success. While federal programs help during the school week, many children still face hunger over the weekend—and that is where we step in.

Community Feed Our Children is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to ensuring that children receive nutritious meals when they need them most.

Our Mission

The mission of Community Feed Our Children is to bring together the resources of churches, schools, charities, and community partners to directly combat children’s hunger—especially during the times when it is most severe.

Our Vision

“All children and families will have access to food, backpack programs, and the tools necessary to achieve success in future endeavors.”

How You Can Help

You can make an immediate and meaningful impact. Your donation provides food boxes for children who would otherwise go without. Every contribution helps us feed more children, strengthen more families, and bring hope to more communities.

Hunger prevents learning. Right now, 25% of our children arrive at school hungry, unable to focus on lessons because their basic needs are unmet. Persistent hunger doesn’t just affect academics—it can lead to hopelessness, low self‑worth, and a loss of confidence in their future.
